To get to the property, it is best to have an SUV or Truck to ensure you cross the few creeks along the way but you are able to drive through with a car most of the time. Cozy interior includes a kitchenette, dining area, and double bed on main level. All your cooking intensils are provided with coffee, tea, and paper products. DVDs and books available await you up the spiral staircase in the loft. Full bed on main level and two singles bed upstairs. Expansive view from your front porch of the highest bluffs on the Meramec.

Come enjoy a peaceful stay in our unique country home, located on our goat cheese dairy in the Missouri Ozarks. Our 45 acre farm is only 3 miles from Fordland and 25 miles from Springfield, MO. There are many hiking trails, creeks, rivers and lakes in the area.

Glamping at its finest! Forest Garden Yurts are wooden yurts designed and built by Bill Coperthwaite in the 1970s for Tom Hess and Lory Brown as home and pottery studio. Tucked away in 4 acres of Ozark forest, the yurts are simple in nature yet abound with artistic details. The home yurt has a kitchen, bedroom, and a nook living room. The bathroom yurt is separate but has a covered walk. Unconventional and unique, with hobbit hole doors and low clearances in places.

The James River Cabin is a luxurious secluded cabin nestled among the trees on 95 acres of river front property. It is just 10 short miles from Springfield, MO (Buc-ee’s and Bass Pro) less than an hour from Branson, MO. On-site activities are numerous and include bicycling, trail hiking, utv trail riding, kayaking, fishing, hot tubbing, and swimming in your own personal paradise. The river access is a short but fun two minute utv drive from the cabin.
