Danseys Pass Lavender Farm Retreat (shepherds hut)

Enjoy a unique stay at our little Lavender Farm nestled in the Kakanui Ranges. Sitting adjacent to the main house, you'll find comfort in your self-contained shepherd's hut, complete with a private outdoor bath and shower. Take the mountain e-bikes for a tour around the surrounding countryside, jump into one of the waterholes on the property. At the end of the day, unwind in your private 4-person spa opposite the rustic wood-fired sauna, or simply relax by the outdoor fireplace under the stars.

If you want a great sleep, our super king size bed with the freshly washed and outside dried linen is here for you. Only 20 minutes from Dunedin city.Great quality bikes are available for rent.The view is great,you straight looking at Mihiwaka from the deck on your left and looking down to the bay on your right. It is a small lifestyle block with sheep and bees.

Roselle Farm Cottage on the Otago Peninsula

Roselle Farm Cottage resides beside a farm paddock encompassing pasture, garden, and harbour views. There are sheep and sometimes lambs that you can pat and feed. The Royal Albatross Centre, Little Blue Penguins, Penguin Place, and Larnach Castle are 15-minute drive from the cottage. We are close to many beautiful beaches that host sea lions and seals. There are many great walks with scenic views. It is a self-contained cottage with everything you need for cooking and washing.

Expect to be amazed as you open the door into the main Chapel building and encounter the seven metre high ornate ceiling, beautiful stained glass windows and original alter. The 125m2 space is full of all the luxuries of a new modern day appartment and is exclusively yours to enjoy during your stay.

Internet not high speed. There are no shops in Moeraki...nearest superette in Hampden 5km to the north. We don't supply milk.

Past guests have come to explore the area, to hang out for a weekend with a friend, to write some more of their novel/thesis, to be out of town when visiting Dunedin for hospital/events, and to job hunt from an unstressed base! Hampden Beach Retreat

Private with lots of room to move, our place has a relaxing beach house feel. Surrounded by large lawns and native trees, it has ultimate privacy. We have a large veranda to enjoy the sunshine and a BBQ. It’s only a 5 minute walk from Hampden Beach, shops, cafes and local tavern. Just a 5 minutes drive to the Moeraki Boulders or a 20 minute walk along the beach. We are only a 25 minute drive south of Oamaru and 50 minutes north of Dunedin.
