Early Riser barn-loft on Organic farm near Acadia

A unique offering for those who want a true farm experience! A clean, rustic above-barn space. Farm animals live below-Winston the roo may crow (early!) Chadde our pet pig may grunt, chickens will cluck! There is a 2 burner stove, cold water sink seasonally(jugs provided in winter) a dorm fridge, and basic kitchen ware. Tea and coffee provided, veg & eggs for sale The shower is at the main house, and a bucket-style compost toilet is in the apartment. There’s a full bed and a fold out couch.

Nestled in a small quiet town right on the banks of Taunton Bay, enjoy peaceful relaxing location and watch the tide roll in and out. Wake up to waterviews from your bed. You have the entire "Spot" to yourself and whatever wildlife happens to show up that day! *****If you plan to book over the 4th of July holiday, please be aware that we will be setting off fireworks on this night. It is very loud. If you or anyone in your party is sensitive to loud explosions/mortars, please do not book.****

Schoodic Loft Cabin "The Roost" with Kayaks

This playful cabin offers a unique spot to unwind and explore the Schoodic peninsula and Downeast Maine. Kayaks are provided to explore island studded 462 acre Jones pond, a 10 minute walk down a trail. A 10 minute drives brings you to the less visited Schoodic section of Acadia NP, where a network of hiking and biking trails lace the coastal forests and dramatic rocky coast. Nearby Winter Harbor has shops and restaurants and even a ferry across the bay to Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island.

Take a break and unwind at our cozy cabin retreat! We have everything you might need for a quick stay, or for a week long vacation! You can find us just outside the hustle and bustle of Acadia and Bar Harbor, but still close enough to get to all the area has to offer, very easily! ATV trails, hiking, hunting, kayaking, antiquing, local attractions, and more all under an hour from us! Our cabin is a 1 bedroom with a full bed, with a futon and 3 camping cots as additional sleeping options.

We are located in Eastbrook about 50 minutes from Acadia National Park. About 30 minutes from the Schoodic National Scenic Byway and the Tidal Falls Preserve. This spacious, sunny studio apartment is a private space with an amazing view in a quiet location. A private sand beach is located across the road with kayaks, hammock and fire pit.

Just minutes from the Maine Coastal Highway, Route 1, and a short 30 minute drive to Mt. Desert Island hosting Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Enjoy canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, camp fires and cook some lobstah while enjoying all the privacy you can handle.

10 X 12 Rustic Cabins. Two twin beds in each cabin. Each cabin includes two Adirondack Chairs, Firepit, small table, and two chairs indoors, 2 LED powered lanterns and 1 fan, 5 gallons of potable water, simple outdoor kitchen table, a picnic table, propane on demand shower house, The bathroom facility is port-o-Potty shared with the other cabin or a compostable toilet. Both options are available. These are OFF the grid. No power or water in the two cabins.

You are a short drive from Acadia National Park where you can hike the carriage trails and see the sunrise from Cadillac Mountain.
