Blackwater Bay Mae's Cottage

Mae's Cottage is a peaceful little bay house located right off of Interstate 10 in Milton (< 1 mile) and is within steps to the beautiful Blackwater River and Bay. It is approximately 100 yards from water access where you can enjoy fishing, boating, kayaking or just watching the sun set. There is a public boat launch so bring your boat/jet skis/kayaks and fishing gear and head out to the beautiful waters of Blackwater Bay. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful little bungalow.

Edna’s Barn

Experience country charm in addition to convenient location- just 1.1 mile off interstate 10! Grocery stores and your favorite restaurants are also close by but you’ll get a good nights rest in this quiet neighborhood. It’s around 35 minutes drive to beaches depending on traffic. The barn was built in the eighties and housed chickens, rabbits and a cow but was repurposed as a dwelling in 2004. Completely modernized in 2022, you can enjoy a unique space with all the comforts of home!

You can unwind in the European style library, watch a movie on the 65” Smart TV, or enjoy a cold drink at the outdoor bar area. Coffee on the deck in the garden is the best. This pastoral and rustic setting offers solitude- NO TV and NO WiFi . - There is a private outdoor seating area with a great view. We are a little more than an hour from Pensacola Beach, Fl. which boasts historical Fort Pickens and 75 miles from Gulf Shores, AL. Wind Creek Casino just 20 minutes away.
