This Guest house is a Fantastic Place to rest and relax. Set on 10 beautiful acres overlooking pastures with Cows, Horses, and Chickens. We have an isolated feel but are just minutes from Hwy 11 and Interstate 20. The guest house has its own private deck with fantastic pastoral views. There is also a shared porch that has an outdoor fireplace, perfect for enjoying some fresh air on cool nights. The main room has a King size bed. Home was originally built in the 1800s! In renovating to provide useable space we’ve tried to keep as much character as possible while allowing for the comforts of today. Home sleeps 2 adults & 2 kids comfortably or 3 adults. Ideally We’d love our guests to come visit and take a cue from life before modern technology. Take a couple days, detach from smart devices, pick up a book, try a new recipe, nap, enjoy life’s simplicities. Create memories in this adorable, comfy, & CLEAN haven!

Be Our Guest: A Charming Home Away From Home!

This is a renovated, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, historical house built in 1905 that sleeps up to 6 guests. It is located on the main street that runs through downtown Monroe, GA and is near several antique malls. It is one block from The Factory at Walton Mill wedding venue and two streets away from The Engine Room wedding venue. For the adventurous, SkyDive Monroe is only one mile away. It is approximately a 30 minute drive to the University of Georgia campus for all the Dawgs fans!

The Nest, Charming Country Setting south of Athens

This guest suite is located above the detached three car garage across from the main house. Beautiful views of the countryside, including horses and chickens! Sanford Stadium and beautiful downtown Athens are just 14 miles north of us (a 22 minute drive). Historic Madison is 19 miles to the south of us. You are welcome to fish or kayak on our pond as well. Come stay with us! We do have a no-pet policy and a no-smoking policy. Thank you for respecting our space.
