It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

La Baita sul Lago si trova nell'antico borgo montano di Trobbio a 950 mt di quota con una incredibile vista sul Lago di Como. C'è tutto il necessario per passare degli splendidi giorni di relax', immersi nella natura e nei suoi ritmi. Il lago e' raggiungibile in 20/25 minuti di auto, cosi come il supermercato. La Baita si raggiunge solo a piedi in 3 minuti dal parcheggio. ATTENZIONE: nei mesi più freddi la baita si scalda solo con la stufa a legna, non c'e' nessun altro metodo di riscaldamento.

It is quiet in a small traditional village with no cars, only small passages between the houses. It is a great location for water sports, hiking, mountain biking, or just playing around on the beach. A place for nature lovers. Our apartment is located in a traditional Lombard house in the authentic mountain village of Livo, above Gravedona ed Uniti on the northwestern shore of Lake Como. At around 650 meters above sea level, hikers and those seeking peace can enjoy the clear mountain air and quiet surroundings, while the lake remains within easy reach, about 15–20 minutes away.
