Built by shipwright/sculptor Lynx Guimond for those of us who are forest creatures at heart, this one-of-a-kind cabin has only enough walls to shelter you from the elements, but not too many that would keep you from experiencing nature. Monteverde Cloud Forest is a 15-minute car ride away. Santa Elena is 20 minutes away. A 30-minute walk takes you to San Luis River with its cool swimming holes. The network of hiking trails known as Sendero Pacifico starts 150 meters from your doorstep.

En nuestro hogar podrás disfrutar de un amplio espacio acogedor, rodeado de vegetación, vida silvestre y el canto y observación de múltiples especies de aves que le acompañará en su estancia. La vista panorámica de los atardeceres, desde el interior de la casa, es uno de los disfrutes que más valoramos además de los momentos de neblina muy propios de la de la zona y de los microclimas que caracterizan nuestro país. De igual manera los amaneceres son muy espléndidos.

Most centric location in the heart of Monteverde, only 300 meters (3 blocks) (5 min walk) from the town of Santa Elena where you can find the commercial center, restaurants, pharmacy, ATM, Bank, Bars and supermarkets. The house has a beautiful balcony with forest, creek and sunset views. Exuberant flora and fauna where you may observe, monkeys, coatis, agoutis and birds among others. Only a 10 minute drive to the monteverde reserve, ziplines and hanging bridges parks.

The two spacious bedrooms upstairs feature private bathrooms and balconies, where you can wake up to the sounds of nature. The ground floor includes a fully equipped kitchen and a terrace with a glass roof, ideal for cooking or relaxing. Please note that there is no living room, as most guests spend their days exploring the forest and return to rest. To maintain cleanliness and prevent insects, please keep windows closed as you’re in the heart of the forest

We have trails so you can enjoy a nice walk around and maybe hear and see some of the many species of birds we have!
