Enjoy the quaint, small town atmosphere in the heart of Downtown Mount Ida at Quartz Quarters, a peaceful duplex located just 2 blocks off the court house square. It's convenient to all of our world class crystal mines, mountain bike trails, arts culture, and beautiful Lake Ouachita. Bring your boat (we have PLENTY of parking), digging gear, and friends and family. Quartz Quarters Unit B has two comfy queen beds, one and a half baths, a full kitchen, WiFi and Roku TV, and a covered back porch.

Or just come loaf and saturate your soul in the peace and tranquility that lake Ouachita and the surrounding national forest has to offer. Hiking and biking trails close. Lots of wildlife. Hot Springs is just 30 minutes away and Mount Ida is 10 minutes away. Come and let go of your worries and just relax. No wifi

NEW OUACHITA RIVER CABIN DIRECTLY ON THE WATER!!!!

We do accept 1 small dog with a fee. Cabin is located just steps away from the Ouachita River. It has an awesome view of the river and is peaceful and quiet. You won't find a nicer cabin in this area. It has a big deck where you can sit and relax. It has a gas grill, Alexa command outdoor audio, and a swing set for the kids. It also has beautiful rock walkway leading down to the river with a lounging area and a charcoal grill and prepping table. You can swim or fish in front of the cabin.

Shady Pines Cottage, Lake Ouachita

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay nestled in the Ouachita Mountains. Lake Ouachita, Womble Trail, and Crystal Mining are just minutes away. The Shady Pines Cottage is your ideal getaway for a quiet and relaxing vacation, in an ideal location! 2-story living space sleeps up to 6. Downstairs has a kitchenette (no stove or kitchen sink) with a microwave, coffee pot, mini frig and utensils. Dish tub provided, and you can wash dishes outside. Outdoor charcoal grill. 2 can sleep on the Futon sofa bed. Lg walk in shower in bathroom. Upstairs has 1 queen, 2 twin beds with 1/2 bath. Outdoor charcoal grill, electric skillet & air fryer. Located on 300-acre farm on Ouachita River with easy access for floats, fishing & private hikes.

Enjoy a peaceful, secluded Cabin In The Woods experience on the South Fork of the Caddo River. This 80+ acre property is yours to explore with no other homes or cabins anywhere on the property. The property extends on both sides of the river with 1/3 mile of river frontage. Swim, kayak, fish, & relax. It's the perfect location for couples, honeymoons, anniversaries, or even escaping on your own for a private sabbatical. Pets are only allowed for couples without children. Fast WiFi!

Another acre slopes down to the bullfrog pond where you can practice your casting skills or just relax and listen to the birds and bullfrogs. Maybe you would prefer chillin' by the firepit or under one of the many shade trees.

Nestled up against the Ouachita National Forest, there are 1.2 million acres of forest within minutes drive. Less than 10 minutes drive to 27 Fishing Village and State Parks. This labor of love is sure to delight when you open the door to this warm country theme inside the cabin.
