Summer is the ideal time to enjoy a lake view from the front porch, in a remote rustic setting amid the Sam Houston National Forest. Nestled among the trees, our private cozy country cabin provides access to a fishing pier sitting on a fully stocked catch & release private lake (no license required). Minutes from historic downtown Montgomery & Lake Conroe. Short drive to College Station, Huntsville, The Woodlands. Walk to the nearby Lone Star Hiking Trail or bring kayaks for fun on the lake.

The Texian Cabin

Enjoy a unique 1700 sqft Texas themed log cabin in the woods! This 1.5 story home, located on a small family farm, has three bed rooms and two bathrooms with an open living room, dining area and kitchen. Toast marshmallows under the stars, grill burgers on the fire pit, play horseshoes or corn hole, lead your own yoga with our goats, collect eggs from the chickens, relax in a hammock, play tetherball, wander the woods, or head inside and dance to classic Texas country on the record player.

The Cabin

The cabin is the perfect getaway for couples and families alike. As a country getaway, there’s no cable; but plenty of board games, DVD’s, and activities to relax to.
