Rustic on the outside, modern on the inside, this serene space inspires relaxation in proximity to wild nature, far from the stresses of daily life. Designed by interior architects Hearth Studio, Jacky Winter Gardens brings together the calming waters of Clematis Creek, the rich soil of the gardens, the pure air of the Dandenong Ranges and every modern convenience you can imagine to give you a wholly satisfying holiday experience. Our mission is to offer private and secluded luxury accommodation for visitors to the hills, including singles, couples and small groups, as well as showcase the work of our artists and incorporate it into the day-to-day life of the house. Through our monthly artist-in-residence program we also support other commercial artists working in any discipline. We’ve feathered our nest with work from some of The Jacky Winter Group’s world-renowned stable of artists. From custom-made glasswork and wallpaper, to games and framed prints, you’ll become acquainted with new artists, or perhaps be reunited with some you already know. The beautiful Clematis Creek meanders along the bottom of the gardens, and its cheerful burbling is the aural backdrop to your stay. If you want to get closer to the water there is easy and safe access down to the creekbank, which makes it the ideal spot for meditation or private reflection. Located just 45-minutes from Melbourne by car, and situated within walking distance to the town centre with its wonderful Cameo Cinemas, Jacky Winter Gardens straddles the two worlds of nature and civilisation, achieving a perfect holiday balance for solo travellers, couples and small groups. None, but available on phone, email, and in person (when possible) to answer any questions! The house is a luxury creative retreat set amidst a half-acre of stunning flora, a creek, and natural bushland. The wild yet tranquil beauty of the Dandenong Ranges has attracted artists to the area for more than a century. Jacky Winter Gardens is situated in Belgrave, Victoria, a short walk from the train station and centre of town. Full directions will be provided upon booking. Car – Belgrave is a 45-minute drive from Melbourne. Train – From Flinders Street Station, catch the Belgrave train to Belgrave Station (it takes just over an hour). Jacky Winter Gardens is a ten-minute walk along a paved walkway from the train station. Jacky Winter Gardens is the perfect retreat for solo travellers or couples, but we are able to accommodate up to five guests: two in the master bedroom, two in the living room on the double-bed fold-out sofa, and one in the studio on a single sofa bed. Jacky Winter Gardens is now dog and child friendly. We also accept single night bookings when available. ***Please message us if you wish to bring your pet or want to stay for a single night before booking*** Each additional guest (beyond the first two) will incur a tariff of 25.00 per night. Unfortunately, due to site limitations, there is no wheelchair access at this time. Due to our location in a high fire risk area, we also have detailed Fire Safety policies which are outlined on our website, which once again is not hard to find.

Self-contained retro studio apartment

This is a single room, retro-themed studio with 3 beds, a double, king single and a single trundle bed. Split system air conditioning / heating ensures comfort during your stay. The kitchen has a fridge with a small freezer, a double hot plate (suitable for reheating meals), microwave, as well as assorted pots and pans. There is a small, private bathroom with shower and toilet, a front loader washing machine. The TV provided has free to air, an Apple TV box and fast free WIFI is available.

Warneet Retreat

Warneet retreat is a cosy little home away from home. It's ideal for couples or singles. It has a queen size bed. Well behaved dogs are welcome! It's separate from the main house and has front and back doors, a fenced deck and barbecue area. There is a hairdryer, ironing board and iron supplied. The kitchen has a large fridge, electric cook top and microwave oven. Relax in front of the 50 inch TV, watch Netflix or play a game.The retreat is heated and cooled by a split system.

View street home is a stylish builders own home. The home has a hampton style exterior, with modern internal finishes including, hardwood floorboards, floor to ceiling tiles in bathroom, stone bathstub, american oak cabinetry, large gas oven, filtered water and ice fridge, fire pit, decked entertaining area and much more. This is a brand new fully private home, conveniently located in between Mooroolbark, Croydon and Kilsyth. A short drive from both the city and Yarra Valley

Tanglewood Cottage Wonga Park

Escape the city: Now with wifi !! A gorgeous provincial-style stone cottage on the outskirts of Melbourne is the perfect easy get away for couples and families. Stay in a picturesque rural setting with access to fabulous gardens where you can relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Luxury Treetop Escape with a Garden Glasshouse

Fiesole Villa is set in a tranquil spot in the Dandenong Ranges. A short drive from the city to escape the hustle and rejuvenate amongst the trees. Enjoy a unique experience in our garden glasshouse. Tree stumps for chairs, enjoy a meal and the city lights. Enjoy the open fireplace, soak in the modern bath or enjoy fern filled walks at your fingertips. Glasshouse is available to hire for micro weddings, elopements, proposals and birthdays for an additional cost.

Entire ground floor in the heart of Mt Dandenong

Enjoy the sunset over the surrounding hill then indulge in a luxurious spa under the stars or simply watch the abundanthe wallabies/deers/wombat that often graze on the grassy slopes at dawn and dusk. Have a delicious BBQ, then enjoy the fun of basketball and table tennis. Dozens of Cockatoos fly over the house at dusk. Lombardy poplar leaves on the drive way turn yellow in the fall, and don't forget to take photos with the incredible red maples at the front yard!

Yarra Valley Gateway Stay

On the doorstep to the Yarra Valley Wine region, this is a private home, vacated for your stay so you have the entire property to yourself. It is set on 1 acre in a quiet court and is popular with wedding & festival guests, family & pets stays, wine buffs and yarra valley explorers. Set atop a hill that offers the serenity of generous Yarra Valley views, the home is appointed to entertain. Pets are welcome including access to stables and electrobraid paddock.

Unit B. 1 bedroom with backyard.

Unit B Private self contained guest house in Kilsyth, with one bedroom/kitchen/dining, with a sofa, and separate bathroom. Close to the Dandenong Ranges, and a 5 minute walk to supermarket , shops and cafes. Yarra Valley wineries and eateries. This accommodation sits at the side of the property with private garden, off street parking, and separate access. The unit contains reverse cycle heating/cooling to keep you comfortable.

Grasmere Lodge

Grasmere Lodge is a newly renovated one-bedroomed fruit pickers cottage from the early 1900s. Privately situated and enjoying expansive views over the Yarra Valley. Grasmere Lodge is an idyllic spot for you to relax and unwind on our 32 acre hobby farm and just a short hop away from some of Victoria's finest wineries and wedding locations. Experience the joy of sharing the property with alpacas, cows, chickens and wildlife.
