Red Fox Ridge Cabin Retreat - *No Cleaning Fee*

Unwind at this secluded retreat nestled quietly at the end of a wooded country road, along a rolling creek. The cabin was originally two cabins erected in the 1850s. In the 1970s, artist Jim Simon dismantled the log cabins and re-erected them on the Simon Family Farm. Red Fox Ridge was named for the red fox often spotted running the ridge overlooking the river. Enjoy what the country has to offer in this 1,800 sq ft barn loft nestled on 10 beautiful acres of KY rolling hillside. There is plenty of room to spread out and relax in the large great room, fully stocked kitchen, dining area, two bedrooms with queen beds and a trundle day bed, sleeping space with a queen bed, new deck, and a fire pit area. While in the country; you're still just minutes away from stores, restaurants, & entertainment. We are so happy to share this space with you!

If you are looking to experience lake life, look no further! Our Guest House sits on the beautiful 140 acre Bullock Pen Lake. It's a great place to relax, or enjoy kayaking, paddle boating, paddle boarding and fishing. We have one of the best views of the lake. The Guest House is fully renovated and decorated with relaxation in mind. It has everything you would need for your stay. After all, the lake is where your worries fade and memories are made! This beautiful stone house(built in 1843 and newly renovated) is the perfect place to retreat with family, friends, or any group! While you'll be an easy 30-minute drive from downtown Cincinnati, the Aquarium, Creation Museum, and Riverbend Music Center, you'll revel in the stillness of the natural landscape surrounding this charming home. (Of course, the in-ground pool, hot tub, fire pit, pool table, fishing, hiking, basketball court & kayaks also sweeten the deal.)

The Cute Little House Near The Ark Encounter

The "Little House" is a cute 1 bedroom house located on our farm in a beautiful country setting with 6 acres of outdoor space for relaxing. It is separate from our home and is all yours. It is conveniently located only 8 miles from the Ark Encounter and you only need to make one turn to get there. We have chickens, ducks, turkeys, a horse, and 11 goats. We also have a 1/2 mile nature trail to explore with a scavenger hunt, and a campfire spot with free firewood.
