BREEZE Treehouse, at The Appleton Retreat is located on 120 acres of private land, bordered by 1,300 acres of a protected nature conservancy. To the south is the Pettengill Stream a resource protected area and to the north a large secluded pond. BREEZE guests may reserve the wood fired cedar hot tub and the sauna, which are close by and private, at an additional charge. The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.

This newly constructed 850 sq ft cabin features a wall of windows and is located on a 30 acre forest. It is perfect for those seeking a peaceful and cozy space to relax and breathe deeper while experiencing the brilliance of Mid-Coast Maine. Wake up to the gentle morning sun cresting over the trees, linger at night under the magic and mystery of a star-filled sky, and witness what all four seasons have to offer. Belfast and Unity are close w/ Bangor, Camden, Rockland, & Acadia - easy day trips.

Off-Grid Oasis with Ocean Views, Near Rt. 1

Take in the ocean views from our quiet hilltop just 20 minutes from downtown Camden and 10 minutes from Belfast. This newly constructed above garage studio apartment is private, full of light, and effortlessly off-grid. The studio features a king-sized bed, table and chairs, comfy chair and bean bag, as well as a full bath. The patio area gives breathtaking views of the bay and island. Enjoy a bright, sun-filled, stylish experience at this centrally-located 2nd floor apartment. This open concept, king bed studio apartment is perfect for a couple or a solo experience. (The bedroom space is defined but does not have a door.) Spacious and cozy with a well-appointed kitchen and washer/dryer. Lots of restaurants & shops nearby with a superb coffee bar downstairs. Belfast waterfront, Saturday morning United Farmers Market, and the fabulous Harborwalk just 2 blocks away.

Cozy Belfast Home Away from Home

This house is walking distance from downtown Belfast, Belfast Rail Trail, and Belfast Harbor. It's a romantic nest for two or a crash pad for up to six. Live comfortably while gaining easy access to all the cool adventures Mid-Coast Maine offers. Please note this is an older house with a basement sump pump. It is eco-friendly - I don't use pesticides. You may see harmless house spiders. It is NOT a good fit for those with severe dust or mold allergies, or with severe cat allergies.

Room with a Brew

Welcome to our new building. "A Room With a Brew" is located above Belfast's newest craft brewery, Frosty Bottom Brewing. A small community supported brewery open 2 days/week for 3-4 hours for beer share members. Guests can request a tour of the brewery and sample some fresh beer. Owners live in downtown Belfast and are available should any issues arise during your stay. The apartment/brewery is located 3 miles from downtown on a quiet road that offers local hiking and biking.

The Barn

I call my place "The Barn" because as I was finishing it it took the shape and feel of a barn. It's not a barn. It's a quiet post and beam open concept building (a Jamaica Cottages kit) set among the fields of Appleton, Maine. You'll sleep in the loft or on a futon on the main floor. The bathroom is huge, 10X10, with a heated floor. It's an open concept kitchen and living space. From Appleton you are 20 miles away from the tourist destinations of Camden, Rockland, and Belfast.

Secluded Retreat w/ Luxe Hot Tub & Forest Views

Tucked near the woods of Maine, this peaceful cabin offers the perfect escape. Soak in the private hot tub under the stars, curl up by the electric woodstove, or work remotely with fast Wi-Fi and forest views. Birch Hill Cabin is set on the side of a hill, surrounded by almost 8 acres of woods. The cabin is 288 square feet, and the bathroom is detached and located approximately 20 feet from the cabin. A hot tub is conveniently located off the deck for ultimate relaxation! This cabin is tucked away, surrounded by nature! But also conveniently located to so many wonderful spots in the Midcoast! Come enjoy the peace and quiet, where you can rest and recharge!
