Enjoy the quaint, small town atmosphere in the heart of Downtown Mount Ida at Quartz Quarters, a peaceful duplex located just 2 blocks off the court house square. It's convenient to all of our world class crystal mines, mountain bike trails, arts culture, and beautiful Lake Ouachita. Bring your boat (we have PLENTY of parking), digging gear, and friends and family. Quartz Quarters Unit B has two comfy queen beds, one and a half baths, a full kitchen, WiFi and Roku TV, and a covered back porch.

Relax in the natural beauty and peaceful environment of this quaint cabin overlooking the upper Caddo River, bordering the Ouachita National Forest near Norman, AR and Lake Ouachita. Ida, crystal digging, Forest access for hiking, biking, ATV riding and canoeing along the Caddo River at nearby Caddo Gap and Glenwood, among many other activities and amenities in the popular tourist areas including Hot Springs National Park.

Whether you are looking to cuddle up with a good book or breathe in the fresh scent of loblolly pine, the cottage provides solitude while being embraced by nature in a quaint downtown setting in the heart of Ouachita National Forest.

Cool Ridge Cabin

Enjoy the peace of this cozy cabin. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, baking pans, dishes and serving utensils, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, crock pot, blender. We supply coffee etc., salt, pepper. Bath towels, wash clothes, toilet paper and soaps. The beds are made with fresh linens. The covered deck faces the woods where you can enjoy the sound of the river. Cook out on the grill and enjoy a fire in the firepit. Wash your treasures on the outside table.

We do accept 1 small dog with a fee. Cabin is located just steps away from the Ouachita River. It has an awesome view of the river and is peaceful and quiet. You won't find a nicer cabin in this area. It has a big deck where you can sit and relax. It has a gas grill, Alexa command outdoor audio, and a swing set for the kids. It also has beautiful rock walkway leading down to the river with a lounging area and a charcoal grill and prepping table. You can swim or fish in front of the cabin.

Judy's Condo in the Forest at Lake Ouachita

The first time I walked into this condo I loved it. The surrounding trees made me feel like I was in a tree house. This Harbor East condo is located in the Ouachita National Forest, within close walking distance of one of the largest and most beautiful lakes in Arkansas, Lake Ouachita. You can enjoy sitting out on the deck watching the birds, squirrels and deer. There are plenty of windows and even three sky lights that give it an outdoor feel. It's a great place to rest and relax.

Bean Creek Cabins are ideal for nature lovers. These three historic cabins are located in the Caddo River Valley in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains. Bean Cabin was built in the mid 1800’s and has been recently refurbished providing a rustic tranquil setting blended with modern amenities allowing you to unplug as much or as little as you like. Enjoy the outdoors by relaxing on the porch swing, hiking the trails, exploring the grounds, or chatting around the large fire pit.

Woods Creek Cabin

Come enjoy nature in our beautiful cabin. Woods Creek Cabin is in a quiet, wooded setting just north of Mt. Ida. We have a compact kitchenette with microwave, toaster, Keurig and small refridgerator. Our rustic log queen size bed is perfect for getting a restful night's sleep before exploring the Ouachita Mountains just outside your door. You will enjoy playing a fun game of horseshoes, Baggo, grilling or just sitting around the firepit while listening to the creek and birds.

Riverview home at Mt. Ida with spectacular views

Welcome to your private retreat with gorgeous views of the Ouachita River and over 4 acres to explore. This beautiful home features a wrap-around deck that gives the bedrooms balcony access to enjoy sunsets. The living room has reclining leather couches and a TV with Roku while the eat-in kitchen has plenty of cookware. Downstairs, play pool with a 2nd Roku TV. Full washer and dryer access, 15 miles from Lake Ouachita with boat rentals and easy day drive to Hot Springs.

The Creek Cottage

The Creek Cottage is a bright and airy, open floor plan home located just 2 miles from town and 5 miles from Lake Ouachita. There is a king bed in the common area that can be walled off by the large room divider curtain. A separate bedroom has 2 large twin beds (daybed with trundle) and there is also a couch comfortable enough to sleep on if needed. One bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen complete this small gem in the woods overlooking a year-round creek.

Cabin has full kitchen and sleeps at least six.
