The Woodland Inn

The Woodland Inn is not “inside city limits” but that is our thing. Perfect to escape the city, relax and reset on a tassie vacation. Located only a 10 min drive from Sandy Bay but based on a 10 acre lot. The Woodland Inn is the best of both worlds. Perfectly situated to forget the hustle&bustle of your day job and feel reconnected to the world. We do live onsite in the main house, but other than helping out when needed you won’t hear from us. Leaving you to relax and enjoy your stay!

Comfortable and Private in New Town, Hobart

Roomy accomodation with private access. This accommodation DOES NOT have a KITCHEN. Sleeping up to 4 adults. The accommodation is in the downstairs part of the main residential property. It is a 5 minute walk to various cafes, Pizza places etc supermarkets, chemist & post office. Also very close to bus stops which will take you to the city past the well renowned North Hobart restaurant precinct ( which is only a 15 min walk anyway). Direct access provided with a key pad or via hosts.

The tastefully decorated double bedroom has lots of natural light, a double bed, a private en suite and breakfast facilities. We are located in Castle Forbes Bay in the Huon Valley, (between Franklin & Port Huon) & central to many of the attractions on offer with stunning views of the Huon River. The apartment is ideal for group bookings & longer stays, with cook facilities & washing machine. It also has a large bathroom, separate shower & deep bath to soak in & a large lounge that opens to a private deck. Free WIFI. We are an adults only retreat.

Situated in Kingston Beach just a 15 minute drive from the city of Hobart with a 5 -10 minute walk to the beach and local cafes and restaurants. There are various walking tracks along the water. It is in a quiet area over looking Mount Wellington and Kingston Beach with views over the River Derwent including South Arm and Opossum Bay. Kingston is the gateway to the Huon Valley and Bruny Island a 25-30 minute drive.
