Coal Creek Cottage (hot tub, dog and kid friendly)

Coal Creek Cottage is a peaceful, private, dog and kid-friendly retreat perfect for couples or small families looking for easy access to the North Cascades! The cottage is situated on a quiet road just 7 minutes east of Sedro Woolley and 15 minutes from I-5. It comfortably sleeps 1-6. Inside there is a full kitchen, high speed internet, 2 Smart TVs for streaming, and laundry. Outside boasts separate driveway, private patio, and a fenced play yard with firepit. We are about 1 hour from the NCNP.

Lil' House - wlk to Downtown, Comfy Bed, Clean!

Little House is a private one-story home, set back from the street, with off-street parking room for large vehicles (Truck-Trailer or camper van) or four cars. There is also a small grass yard. Inside a well-equipped kitchen, washer-dryer combo, microwave and out door furniture are available for use. Pets and children are welcome. Little House is under a mile to downtown Mount Vernon and guests regularly walk there for dining, breweries and entertainment. Custom reccomendations are free!

Our waterfront apartment has majestic views of Alice Bay. Our private beach is a dynamic tidal flat with the water moving in & out twice daily - always changing. It is central to excellent Skagit Valley birding, scenery, tulips and out door adventure. Private cove for nature lovers; close to hip, historic Edison, restaurants, art galleries; central to Bellingham & Anacortes (30 min), Seattle & Vancouver, BC (90 min each), beautiful walks from your front door. You'll want to come back!

Lake Sixteen Retreat

This peaceful, fully stocked house has an unbelievable lakefront view! A no gas engine boat policy makes the lake perfect for swimmers, paddle boarding and utilizing the provided kayaks and pedal boat. During the spring and fall, forage for mushrooms on site in our old growth woods. In winter, Skagit’s snow birds come and go at sunrise/set to sleep on the lake, watch and photograph them from our lakeside fire pit. An ideal place to explore, unplug, connect.

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. We are in the heart of Skagit Valley. Our quaint downtown is a quick 10 minute walk. Less than 20 minutes away by auto you can visit Edison, La Conner, and the Salish sea. Many shops, trails, events and foodie fare are in our Guest Guide please have a look as we were thinking of you when we complied all our favorites places. We are happy to share our patio and garden with our guests.

Edison Schoolhouse, curated by Smith and Vallee

Built into a turn-of-the-century schoolhouse and located behind Smith & Vallee Gallery in the heart of Edison, WA. Large waterfront yard, decks with expansive views of the Edison slough and the San Juan Islands, large covered porch, family and dog friendly accommodations. Included is a garden cottage, steps away from the Schoolhouse, with a desk and strong wifi for a quiet workspace or writing retreat. An oasis tucked in to the bustling village of Edison.

Elephant Hill

This is a lovely, modern walkout-basement suite (2 private bedrooms with queen beds, full bath with tub/shower and warm-water bidet seat, living space with sink, quartz countertops, breakfast bar and large refrigerator--no stove). We live a quiet life upstairs with our old dog. Your suite and parking is all on one level, with no stairs or ramps. A small covered patio provides neighborhood ambiance and a place to relax outdoors.
