8 Steps to a private beach. Cottage with full kitchen, new queen bed, very private, big water's edge deck, unhindered views of Broughton Strait and the passing marine traffic and wildlife. Newly installed gas fireplace in 2022 will keep extra warmth and heat through cool evenings. As mentioned below, wifi is weak on a phone , good on a tablet. But it’s a spot to not be on devices. If you need major research or downloads, come up the driveway and it gets stronger. Local hotels have wifi.

Charming private suite steps to Pier & shops

Take a break and unwind at our peaceful oasis. We are a short 5-10min downhill walk to Museum, Shops, Pier, and Sea Walk. Hospital 2 blocks away. Enjoy delicious ice cream at the Pier, fishing or watch for whales and other marine life goes by. Across the street there's a lovely park with tennis courts, (enjoy a game or 2 with tennis/pickle ball racquets provided) and an outdoor swimming pool. We are 20 min drive to local sandy beaches, and 12 min to Elk Falls/Suspension bridge & McIvor lake.

North Island Getaway

This beautiful cottage is situated less than 5 minutes from town with a north facing unobstructed ocean view. Walking distance to the ocean. Permanent residents will welcome you on the property at time of check. Wifi available, in-suite washer and dryer, private parking and RV hookup. This cottage can stay up to 5 guests. The cottage is entirely on its own and not attached to any other dwellings, as seen in the pictures. The rental is of the entire dwelling.

You would be staying on the top floor of our home (1000 sq ft) perfect for fishing adventures, for family and friends, provided is a separate upright freezer for you big catch from the sea. We also provide a play pen and high chair for your babies. Our home provides a quiet, peaceful and comfortable place to stay during your holiday with full amenities. We provide coffee, sugar and assortment of teas, spices in a kitchen fully stocked with all pots and pans.
