Settle into a quaint farmhouse nestled in a valley in the rolling, forested hills of the Driftless Region. Start your day with a cup of local coffee on the front porch. Go on a long walk or bike ride, then return to the cottage to cook, play board games, listen the record collection or visit Viroqua (25 minutes) for a farm-to-table 5-star dinner, or check out local music. Build a warm fire outdoors/ warm up by the gas stove indoors, or go down to the stream for a sauna by the cool water creek.

Nestled among two acres in the rolling hills and lush greenery of the Driftless Area, this A-frame cabin stands as a serene retreat, blending harmoniously with its natural surroundings. The decor is a blend of modern comforts and rustic elements, with comfortable furnishings. Seated in the heart of the Kickapoo valley, there's no shortage of class 1 trout streams near by, public hunting easements, UTV trails, hiking, canoeing and easy access to all of the wonderful amenities the area offers.

Relax with loved ones at this peaceful place to stay in the beautiful Coulees of Wisconsin just 3 miles from the Mississippi River. Immediate access to UTV & snowmobile trails. Lower level apartment with walkout deck, fire pit, private parking. Small hobby farm with friendly critters. Living room couch is a hide-a-bed. Camping allowed. Boat & trailer parking near road too. We prefer no pets as we have our own, yet we are willing to make exceptions. Fuel, food, hardware store within 2 miles.

The Spring Water Retreat -@MillCreekCabinsWI

After crossing a narrow path along the lake you will find the entrance to the Spring Water Retreat at Mill Creek Cabins. The remains of an old farmhouse now welcome our guests to a warm, secure, escape from the everyday. This secluded space is the perfect place to relax in the woods.​ With no TV and large windows looking out over the lake, the focus is on the outdoors. Despite the remote location, a high-speed internet connection is available to keep you connected throughout your stay. ​

Cabin is cozy, with an aesthetic we're calling supper-club-chic. The perfect place to read, relax, reconnect. Nestled in the heart of Wisconsin's Driftless area, a remote, lovely, nearly-wild kingdom, easy driving distance from Chicago and Madison. As of 2025, a resident beaver family are redesigning the creek/yard: you'll have a front row seat.

1450 square ft cabin with an open concept located three miles east of Viola. The cabin is secluded in the woods tucked down at the base of a ridge in the driftless area. 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, with a loft that has two queen beds for additional guests. 22 miles to Richland Center. 16 miles to Viroqua. 9 miles to Kickapoo Valley Reserve. 1.5 miles to Chapters on the Horizon. 1 mile to the Kickapoo River. Bike, hike, fish, kayak, tube, canoe, and relax... it's all close by.

This unique place has a style all its own. The house is decorated in an eclectic western style with many antique and primitive elements. It has a great outdoor patio area that will provide plenty of space for nights of laughter and fun for the entire family. The house features a fully furnished kitchen and a laundry area for all your needs. Close to Chapter on Horizon, great trout fishing, and the Kickapoo Reserve, there is always plenty to do in the area.

1 bedroom 1 bath with loft. Cozy home where you can see Paradise. This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Views for miles of the Mississippi River, bluff tops and you can soar with the Eagles. What a place to relax in the newly added hot tub while you enjoy the view in what is call "God's Country". This is promised to be a one of a kind view. Come and unplug at a farmhouse on the Kickapoo river! Enjoy the driftless beauty of rolling hills, river views and wildlife from the back porch. Bring your whole family- the house sleeps 5-6 comfortably, has a full kitchen, dining room, living room and plenty of reading nooks to cozy up to a good book. Enjoy listening to records, playing board games, puzzles, yard games, lounging by a campfire, along with everything the driftless region has to offer.

Located off the beaten path in a beautiful pristine valley, this 1 bed, 1 ½ bath cottage offers high end furnishings with a vintage flair modeled after a true english stone cottage. The cottage offers miles of private walking trails on 100 private acres along the renowned Big Green trout stream. Our small highland cow herd roams the pastures, making it feel like you truly are in the Scottish Highlands.
