The Whale House is situated on the premises of Mdumbi Backpackers which makes it a lovely private option with access to everything the backpackers has to offer. Guests have access to Mdumbi beach which is a 3 minute walk down the hill. Guests have access to activities offered by the backpackers such as massages, cultural tours, cave hikes and kayaks on the beautiful mdumbi river as well as a restaurant and coffee shop on site. The house is the perfect spot for relaxing with your family/friends.

What started as just a rondavel on it's own, has been developed with a separate bathroom and a 3 double bedroom unit with a decking. This is a family built and run holiday home that we hope you will enjoy as much as we do. It's quiet and set away from the stresses of normal life, so be prepared to switch off and relax on the decking with a beautiful view of our Wild Coast.

Welcome to our 'Happy Place'. This rustic but comfortable Wild Coast Cottage 5 bedrooms with a large living space to take in the most breath-taking view of one of South Africa's natural wonders. This is the place to rest, restore and enjoy quality time with your family. A short walk to the beach is recommended to work off our housekeeper Nancy's famous vetkoek. Whether you love fishing, hiking, paddling, SUP on the river or just spending time on the beach; this place is for you.

Sweet Home Cottage

This space is a not so small two bedroomed cosy cottage, with two beds in each bedroom , a bathroom (shower & toilet) and an open plan TV - kitchenette room. There are two entrances to the bathroom, one from bedroom 1 and the other from bedroom 2. Both rooms have 2 three quarter beds each making a total of 4 beds. There's also a single folding bed to be used when need for a fifth bed is needed. The cottage is part of Sweet Home but has a separate entrance.

Pub and restaurant on site. There are four different beaches within a very easy walk from the cottage. Gillies are available outside the gate for a fishing outing to some top spots.
