I have zooshed up the apartment where I wrote and painted my most recent creations. The king size bed, decked in fresh linens, many pillows and soft blankets is where your stories can become. Muses are here. The desk where I wrote and the kitchen where I painted is now fully equipped. Electricity on or off; you will cook it up! Ink blotches are still on the screeded floors, cool to a hot summer bare foot. The lounge has a single mattress daybed under a skylight, where clouds and stars await you.

Waking up in nature, surrounded by birdlife, will make you think twice if you should leave home to explore more of the beautiful Cape. Marina da Gama is close to the famous surfer beach of Muizenberg , the pittoresk Kalkbay , on the way to Cape Point or the Winelands driving along the ocean beaches of False Bay. Driving to Town is uncomplicated and takes 20 min.

Otter's Rest - A Nature Lovers Waterside Retreat

The property offers a spacious and comfortable home, ideal for couples who prefer a slower, nomadic lifestyle while exploring the world with conscious intention. Slakhuisie seeks serenity on the main road, with mountains and sea at the doorstep; nature beckons to be explored! Rest assured, the dedicated home office will ensure some work gets done;)
