Steinholt is a recently renovated house built in 1907 & centrally-located in Seyðisfjörður. The apartment offers an entrance from the ground floor and the first floor from the big terrace, that can also be enjoyed during the stay. Well equipped kitchen & very cosy living room. Downstairs is a big bedroom with double bed and one/two single beds, upstairs is a sofa-bed. Bathroom with shower and washing machine. Spectacular mountain & fjord views. Ideal for couples, families or group of friends.

Hello dear visitors! We are a team of two passionate travellers (Ieva and Nicolas) who settled down on a faraway fjord in Iceland and are excited to meet you here. We are in the middle of our life project - renovating a beautiful old house in the centre of unpronounceable Fáskrúðsfjörður. The area offers many beautiful hiking trails through the unique mountains with jaw-dropping landscapes and is perfect to use as base camp and while hiking the area for few days. Óbót is a small cabin (13.5 square meters) and has accommodations just outside Egilsstaðir and has a great riverside view. The cabin has two single beds, private bathroom and free WiFi. The facilities are extremely suitable for two people. A variety of hiking trails are nearby and guests are allowed to go fishing for free in the river called Rangá. The nearest airport is Egilsstaðir Airport, 8 km from the cabin location.

The cottage is on a small and quiet family run farm, 8 km to the town Egilsstaðir. These small houses are cozy and heated with geothermal energy, the cottages can be booked all year around. We provide linen, towels, tea and Coffee for no extra charge. The surrounding area consists of a river, trees, northern lights, beautiful nature and during the winter time you might even see some reindeers wandering around.

From the cottage you have a magnificent view of the mountains, the horses of the farm and the vastness of the landscape. Þetta er stórt gamalt hús á tveimur hæðum og kjallara. Það er stór pallur með húsgögnum og gasgrilli. Svalir út frá setustofu með flottu útsýni yfir fjörðinn. Afgirtur garður með fullt af trjám og góðu leiksvæði. Leikvöllur er við hliðina á garðinum. Kaffisala er opin í Sólbrekku á sumrin frá 15 júní til 10 ágúst, þar er hægt að fá sér léttar veitingar.
