Od najbližje trgovine in gostilne je oddaljeno ca 17 kilometrov. Od smučišča Cerkno je oddaljeno ca 1,5 kilometra. V eni uri pa se lahko pripeljete do Ljubljane, Bohinja, Bleda ali letališča Brnik. V bližini je veliko lepih hribov, ki so primerni za sprehode, pohode ali gorsko kolesarjenje.
