Every beam carried up by hand or mule — built the old mountain way. Reached via a 25–30 min uphill trek from the parking point — a proper mountain trail, not a flat walk. All the major activities like trek to Khuliya top, Meshar and Thamri kund are in close vicinity. All the rooms have private access, washrooms and balcony. Our property is reachable after an uphill hike of 150 metres. So please pack your bags accordingly! A comfortable pair of shoes will be helpful.

Luxury Earth Home in the offbeat Himalayas

The last 7 years have been an incredible learning experience. Since we moved to the village, the priorities have changed. There was a sense of discovery in everything we did. There were chai-filled conversations with elders and young turks and stories on how homes and communities were built. It's these learnings that led us to build these earth homes. Kumaon has been a great teacher. And we hope we've done justice to her sustainable ways.
