Although you can come by public transportation, it is more convenient to come by car as it is quite a rural area. The hot spring is 5 minutes by car. It takes 20 minutes by car to the castle town of Iga Ueno. 25 minutes to Mokumoku Farm. 30 minutes to Igayaki no Sato. 45 minutes to Suzuka Circuit. 50 minutes to Akame Shijuhachi Falls National Park. 1 hour to Ise Jingu. 1 hour to Horyuji Temple.

西村邸は、奈良町の一画に100年以上たたずむ、昔ながらの奈良町屋です。 ここは、ぼくが子どもの頃、長い時間を過ごした「おばあちゃんち」でした。 奈良町には、ずっと変わらない心地よい鄙(ひな)びがあります。 「これからの世代に、少しでもこの心地よい鄙(ひな)びにふれて欲しい。」 そんな想いで、空き家になっていた西村邸を、手入れしました。 - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.

Riverside Villa with Sauna, Gateway to Akame Falls

Enjoy a peaceful stay in a private villa surrounded by nature, where the gentle sound of the river brings relaxation. The villa features a private authentic sauna, perfect for unwinding both body and mind. As the property is located in a quiet area, we kindly ask guests to keep noise to a minimum after 9:00 PM. A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!

Our house is traditional Japanese style house. 150 years old and in a very quiet location. We are renting house. Not shared with other guests. There are 2 bedrooms(Tatami-room) and 1 living room, gameroom, bathroom, shower toilet, all of the room are only for you. *Children is free of charge if your children don't need a bed and break fast. There are air conditioners in bedroom and livingroom.
