Located on a quiet farmyard with a large garden, 3km from the Lee Valley. Host lives in another farmhouse next door. Great fishing nearby in the river Lee, national rowing center also located within 10 mins drive. 25 mins drive from Cork city, 15 mins to the Blarney stone. Easy access to West Cork and Kerry region, all reachable with day trips. Lots of great walks nearby. If you need “fast”WiFi, this is probably not the location for you. Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Six Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

The Storehouse and stables on a working dairy farm

Come and experience life on a working dairy farm and you can even help milk the cows if you'd like to. The cottage has all the conveniences of a modern home including a washing machine, oven, electric hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. It has oil central heating. We have free wifi for your use. The Storehouse is located on the grounds of our family home at the rear of the property. It is accessed via our farm laneway and an electric gate.

Glengarriff Lodge (formally Lord Bantry's Cottage)

Glengarriff Lodge, or what used to be Lord Bantry's Cottage, is a luxury self-catering space hidden away on a secluded, leafy island surrounded by 50-acres of ancient oak woodlands in Glengarriff, West Cork. The estate was the location of a former hunting lodge for the Earls of Bantry and offers guests a rare glimpse of a truly magical part of old Ireland, in an absolutely gorgeous and pristine setting with privacy and comfort.

Cannon’s Cottage

Cannon’s Cottage resides in the beautiful lee valley of Cork. This house was built in 2018 and is situated 18km from Cork City, 10 mins drive from Blarney and Ballincollig. A wide range of activities are available near by including walks, fishing, greenways and water sports to name but a few. The house is surrounded by rolling hills and fields in a beautiful green landscape , yet you are only 20 mins drive to cork city.
