Perfect for a single person or a couple. Min. 2 days Santa Cruz is only accessible by boat and is known for its beauty and tranquility. There are some good local restaurants along the lake shore plus kayak rentals and great swimming at the foot our our hill. Hiking is also wonderful in our area.

It is perfectly suited for those who long for tranquility and privacy. It is just a 15 minute walk downhill (or a 5 minute tuktuk ride) to the popular hipster/holistic village of San Marcos La Laguna. From our road entrance up to the house there are 150 steps to hike, well worth it for the incredible view!

A 5 minute walk from the town square, Casa Tula is nestled in its own private courtyard garden (with fountain) on a gentle South-facing slope that boasts breath-taking views. Casa Serenidad is a lakefront cottage with lush gardens secluded enough to be alone with nature, but within 3-5 minutes away from Isla Verde, a hotel with a restaurant that offers delicious food, and it’s usually open to the public. The property is only accessible by boat but its approx. a 15 minute walk to the town of Santa Cruz, and very close to kayak and paddle board rentals. We are about a 10 minute boat ride to Panajachel.
