High Mountain Stone Cottage in the Cederberg

Surely the highest cottage, at 1200m altitude, in the Cederberg with spectacular views of the Koue Bokkeveld and the Cederberg. It is set against a mountain peak surrounded by pristine Cape flora. A place of retreat and deep silence. The cottage, with its beautiful woodwork and stonework, belongs to another era. Recently it was renovated with a larger kitchen and a braai room as shelter from summer southerly winds and to catch sun on winter afternoons. A private rock pool is 150m from the stoep

SUGARBIRD HOUSE EDENVELDT FARM

I have decided to rent out my personal farm house\ guest house to happy road trippers seeking solitude and a peaceful surrounding. The house is within a valley surrounded by 48 hectares of open land,beautiful mountain (cederberg) backdrops and a river with three natural swimming areas within walking distance of the guest house and the place include a 25m lap pool right in front of the veranda! Oh and plenty of clean breathable air :). There is one full sized bed so its best suited for couples.

Hunter House - Self Catering in Cederberg

The Hunter House is a private holiday home in the Cederberg that is surrounded by blossoms, flowers and Namaqualand daisies in the spring. Summer brings the sound of the sun beetles and fresh peaches next to your holiday home. The river on your doorstep so if you don't swim in it during the summer, you can see how it grows in the winter next to a fireplace as you hear it roar. Winter brings the snow on the beautiful hiking mountains. Guest farm campsite at main river. No Wifi. No towels.

Secluded Off-Grid Mountain Cottage

Private stand-alone cottage on a beautiful farm 1.5 hours north of Cape town and 30-40 minutes from Elands Bay. This is a very simple, off-grid, self-catering cottage with beautiful mountain views, a dam to swim in and hiking access to the entire 2000 hectare farm. The farm has established hiking and mountain biking trails, horse riding on request and established sport and trad rock climbing routes. The cottage has two fireplaces, a gas stove, fridge, a 'donkey' water heater and solar power.

Welcome to Weavers Cottage, set among the citrus overlooking the valley. A 12 minute walk takes you to a quiet waterfall and natural swimming spots. Guests spend their days hiking, swimming, bouldering, or simply enjoying the stillness. The patio is a peaceful place to unwind, and you will often see ponies & peacocks wandering past. Brandrivier offers quiet, self-catering tent cabin accommodation nestled in the heartland of Namaqualand near Springbok. You can find peace and quiet on the farm. Our latest lodge tent is named Meerkat and you rent the whole self catering unit, hosting 2 people. We provide gate details so that you can come and go as you please, but we will always be available to assist with all your needs.

Enjoy a queen-size bed, automated blinds, and a private outdoor shower. For your comfort, the air conditioner is available daily from 10h00 to 18h00.
