Our backyard birds and wildlife include: kookaburras, lorikeets, king parrots, black & white cockatoos, kingfishers, tawny frog-mouth. Kangaroos are frequent visitors.

Set on the first Valla beach street surrounded by homes used for generations by families from Armidale for their year round beach holidays. It's just a gentle downhill stroll to the 5 km long dog friendly beach backed by untouched forest reserve and an equally easy amble up to the cafe with its beautiful coffees and food. We are close to the village of Urunga, and a half-hour drive from Coffs Harbour airport. Enjoy the privacy, views, and the quiet, natural surroundings. We welcome families, couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. This two storey unit has a separate bedroom with ensuite, lounge-room, and private balcony with BBQ provided. "Behind the Wall" is a Tuscan inspired getaway situated within walking distance of the shopping centre of Urunga, the boardwalk and beach and the Wetlands Boardwalk. As you enter Behind the Wall you will set foot in a Tuscan inspired garden complete with espaliered fruit trees and outdoor dining. The two bedroom house is an original hundred year old home recently renovated to honour it's original character. The kitchen and bathrooms are purpose built to accommodate the needs of guests.

The perfect place to relax and unwind there is a large wrap around verandah and undercover area with bbq facilities that allows comfortable outdoor living in all types of weather. There is a fully equipped kitchen stocked with essentials. A timber combustion heater will keep you warm in winter and air conditioning in two bedrooms and the living area will keep you cool in summer. The three bedrooms each have a queen size bed. All linen/towels are provided including beach towels.
