Whatever brings you to the town, our place is ideal for those wanting to make the most of nearby attractions such as: Waterfall country (exactly 1 mile away), Brecon Beacons, Bike Park Wales, Pen-Y-Fan, Dan Yr Ogof caves, Penderyn Distillery etc. Dog-friendly with free on site parking for two cars, plenty of local amenities within walking distance such as the Co-op convenience & various takeaway outlets.

Sage Cottage is a Cosy Welsh Cottage with stunning countryside views, situated in the small village of Kenfig Hill, 5 miles from the popular seaside town of Porthcawl and only a 30 minute drive to Cardiff or Swansea. This cottage has lots of character and offers you the opportunity to cwtch up on the sofa in front of the toasty log burner or enjoy the countryside views with a glass of wine. Perfect for couples wanting a tranquil getaway or for those that enjoy a walk along the local footpaths.

Staying here allows families and couples to explore and take in the famous sites of our spectacular welsh heritage by foot, bicycle, motorbike or car. Quaint cottage situated in the heart of the waterfall country. Enjoy the beautiful surrounding areas with the four waterfall walk on your door step! This one bedroom cottage consists of one double bed, one single bed and also has one very comfy sofa! There is a fully fitted kitchen including a washing machine/tumble perfect for cleaning those muddy clothes after your waterfall walk. Outdoor balcony area over looking the river, perfect for breakfast al fresco! We are pet friendly too!

1 Cathelyd Colliery Stables

No 1 Cathelyd Colliery Stables is a dog friendly property renovated from a pit pony stables. Next door is No 2 that is slightly larger and can be booked separately on Airbnb. There are walks on the doorstep being next to the Cwm Clydach bird reserve and the cottage has its own private valley walk with a waterfall. We are situated 3 miles from J45 of the M4 with easy access to Swansea, Gower and the Brecon Beacons. The Swansea Cycle path is on the doorstep. The town is a mile away.

Cartref is a mid terraced stone built cottage. The accommodation consists of two bedrooms, each with a double bed, a large comfortable lounge with a small dining area, a fully fitted kitchen.Check in after 3pm,check out before 11am. Unfortunately we do not allow pets in the cottage.There is on street parking outside the cottage but is on a first come basis.If you arrive and no parking just put a note on windscreen to say you are in the cottage with arch over front door .

Myrtle Cottage

The cottage is located in a peaceful and safe rural area where you will find livestock at the gate. The vibrant cottage borders the M4 but is absent from noise pollution. You're surrounded by the noise of wildlife. The perfect setting for ticking business off your "to-do" list or rejuvenating. It is ideal for those visiting any region of South Wales.
