‘Rosie’s Retreat’ beautiful private cabin

Set within beautiful gardens, this fully furnished cabin features an open plan kitchen/living area/bedroom & ensuite. Facilities include fridge freezer, air fryer, microwave, hob, kettle, toaster, WIFI, smart TV, Amazon Echo, sofabed, double bed, rain shower, electric heater, private outdoor garden area. Parking for 2 cars. The cabin is set in the garden of the main house but is completely private, with self check in. Sleeps 2/3 adults or 2 adults and 1 or 2 children. 1 well behaved dog welcome.

The cosy interior with wood burning stove offers a comfortable space in which to relax after long walks in the Brecon Beacons or from which to work remotely. Based near to the waterfalls, the cottage provides easy access to outdoor activities such as wild swimming, gorge walking and hiking. It is also conveniently situated for the Gower coast.

There are walks on the doorstep being next to the Cwm Clydach bird reserve and the cottage has its own private valley walk with a waterfall. We are situated 3 miles from J45 of the M4 with easy access to Swansea, Gower and the Brecon Beacons. The Swansea Cycle path is on the doorstep. The town is a mile away.

We are located just 6 miles from Neath and 15 miles from Swansea and surrounded by forestry. Glanrhyd is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. Our cosy cottage on the edge of Blaengarw village, in a valley surrounded by mountains, and small lakes. Amazing walks on the doorstep with dramatic views, and we are dog-friendly (but sorry, no cats). Real fire, TV, DVDs & books for cosy nights in. Great cycling with riverside rides and mountain trails. Shop, pub & takeaway in the village. Designer outlet, Odeon cinema, nature reserves and castles all a short drive. And we live round the corner for any advice or help!
