The Birch ply interior, wool carpet and heat pump create a warm and cosy vibe. The Barn is set in a rural landscape overlooking a lovely large pond inhabited by local birdlife. Approx 10-15 mins drive from Dunedin city centre and 3 mins to historic Port Chalmers and some of the best beaches and coastal scenery Otago has to offer all nearby.

Please note we also have a small studio on the same property (Seaside Studio) which can accommodate 2 guests. We are pet friendly but please notify us when bringing a dog. Bedding is required - pets are not allowed on beds. Our property is close to a beautiful beach which is accessed by a private track through dunes. It is 20 minutes from Dunedin's airport and a 15 minutes drive to Dunedin's CBD. Listen to the waves at night and walk the sandy Ocean View beach by day.

French doors lead you to your private floriferous roof garden. Downstairs provides kitchen and bathroom. Coastal Soul came into existence when my husband living at home with Alzheimers and I felt I needed to have something else in my life as well. Our little unit/cottage where a family friend had been living became vacant and I had the perfect recipe for looking after my soul, redecorate and give the cottage a new lease in life as well as myself, unfortunately my husband has passed on but his memory will always be part of the cottage.
