The Black Cabin Oban

This one-of-a-kind cabin is newly built by a local designer and cabinet maker with comfort and luxury as a priority. The uniquely styled cabin includes a lounge area, kitchen with appliances, super king bedroom, wet room and spacious decking with hot tub. Set high on the hillside, you can relax and enjoy unique panoramic views over Oban and Glen Coe mountain range. The Black Cabin makes the ideal space for a romantic getaway and as a base to explore the wonderful west coast of Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.

"Dail an Fheidh" (gaelic for "Deer Field") is a 2 bedroom house situated on the beautiful shores of Loch Linnhe. The house is set in an acre of field and has direct access to the loch. There are amazing views over to Ben Nevis and red deer graze near the house, all year long. A 40 minute drive will take you to the popular town of Fort William or head west to explore the stunning Ardnamurchan Peninsula. You can use the Corran Ferry to access the house, but please note, we are not on an island.

From here explore Neptune's Staircase, a flight of 8 locks on the Caledonian Canal. Compact, cosy, bijou, romantic, fantastic views, great setting, no room to swing a cat - we think that these are all great descriptions of our chalet. It is definitely small ( 4m by 3m) but we love it and think that it is a great place for a cosy stay as long as lots of space is not high on your priorities! The chalet has a double bed, its own wee toilet and shower, parking right in front, T.V, tea and coffee making facilities and a little fridge. Wifi,, Spotify and Netflix are all available.

Fort William is 10 mins away by car, we have a lovely local pub which serves great food and is only a ten minute walk, Neptune’s stair case is a 5 min walk, watch the Harry Potter Steam train at the end of the road. Nevis Range is 15 mins by car, lots of lovely walks to explore within easy distance. You wont be disappointed.
