Creekside Campground

Dipper Camp is a large private, creek-side campground along Deer Creek. Retreat and relax at this rustic, unplugged site designed for groups of 6 to 10. The camp includes three spacious safari-style bedroom tents with comfortable beds, a camp kitchen with hot water, picnic tables, fire ring, composting toilets, outdoor hot-water shower & clawfoot bathtub. On a dirt road, surrounded by public land, you feel as if you are “out there” but you are less than 1.5 miles to lovely downtown Nevada City.

Nice outbuilding houses propane shower and composting toilet ("number one" is OK in trailer). Woodsy, birdsong-y site on W. Broad - mild to (rarely) moderate traffic noise. Cooking utensils and dishes are in the well-appointed kitchen, which has a stove, small oven, and icebox - we provide ice blocks. Owners on property always available but give you space.

Our 1986 Airstream coach is equipped with a French-style kitchen, shower, Queen sized bed, Composting Toilet, A/C, Gas Furnace and Space Heater. The bedding and sheets are washed in organic detergent. Organic instant coffee, tea, hot water kettle provided. Nestled in the woods just 6 minutes to downtown Nevada City, CA.
