Black Rock Stables

If you enjoy a beautiful view, a peaceful and secluded rural setting and being surrounded by animals (wild and domestic) then this is the place for you! Black Rock Stables was built as an equestrian facility; however, the focus is now on providing small scale dog/cat boarding and the breeding of healthy and happy Scottish terriers. Even so, a few elderly equines can often be seen mowing the grass, and we now have a small petting zoo for your children to enjoy. Registration number STR2526A6090

MacLeod Cove: secluded cottage with private shore

MacLeod Cove is a 3-bedroom cottage on the Bras d'Or, Cape Breton's beautiful inland sea. Enjoy ocean views and private cove, within 25 minutes drive of Baddeck, North Sydney (Newfoundland ferry terminal), and the Cabot Trail. Smoking and fires of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property. The cottage is very private, surrounded by forest and sea. It typically has good cell phone coverage and we have wifi. The Cottage is fully equipped with everything you will need. Two bedrooms, one bathroom, pull out couch, washer, dryer, SmartTV, wifi, kitchen with a fridge, stove/oven, microwave, coffer maker and a BBQ. A beautiful view of Ann's Bay. Beach access at the Community Hall minutes up the street. Just a minute away from the Englishtown Ferry to the Cabot Trail. In the middle of it all 20 mins to Baddeck, 25 mins to North Sydney and 40 mins to Ingonish and Cape Breton Highlands National park.

Farmhouse Fond Memories

New cottage built on the site of a former 1900s farmhouse hence the name Farmhouse as it has been in the family for over 50 years. Not an old farmhouse but a new spacious serene space with views of the Ocean and Mountains. Sits on very large acreage which provides for a get away from it all feeling. The private ocean beach w/brackish pond are an 8 min walk away. Walk the beach for miles and rarely cross paths with others. Come and be close to nature and make memories. Peaceful and serene.

Comfie Place

This is a centrally located Airbnb located just minutes from the ocean. The Fortress of Louisbourg is just 30 mins away. The Cabot Trail is not far away with great beaches and epic scenery. Newfoundland ferry is 15 mins away. Comfie place is an open concept 1 bedroom unit with all amneties of home. Washer & dryer included. The queen size bed is extremely comfie with a nice duvet. Firepit, patio table and lawn recliners there for your use. Wireless internet & bell cable tv .

Rossiter Cabin 3 Queen Beds

Relax with the family at this peaceful home away from home in scenic Big Bras d'Or. We are only 15 minutes to North Sydney and the Newfoundland Ferry, 30 minutes to Sydney, 20 minutes to the Englishtown ferry and 30 minutes to Baddeck. This cottage is quaintly tucked in the woods but only a ten minute walk to the shore and a beautiful sandy beach. We are also a 5 minutes stroll to the Bird Island Boat Tours. Note: Only small non shedding dogs due to allergies.

Point Edward Guesthouse

Our cozy guest house is located along the Point Edward Highway, but don't let the name of our street discourage you from staying. It is a lovely, quiet, rural setting, along the shores of Sydney Harbour. Very centrally located between the city of Sydney and surrounding towns. The view is calming, and can be enjoyed on the covered front deck. Be sure to catch one of the stunning sunsets during your stay!
