Bourbon Country Schoolhouse

Enjoy staying in a piece of history within this old one room schoolhouse converted to a two bedroom home. Sit out on the swing or by the firepit as you enjoy peaceful sounds of the country and the creek adjacent to the property. Located right on the Bourbon Trail with only a 5 min drive to Maker’s Mark, 17 min to Limestone, and 20 min to Log Still Distillery. Venture in to the city of Springfield to learn about Abe Lincoln and his parents, married in the courthouse, still being used to this day!

If you like having options, then the Farmhouse is perfect for you! Large groups can easily gather in the indoor and outdoor living spaces. There are quiet nooks if you are seeking solitude. Experience life in the country with a front-row seat to an operating farm. Watching the sunset will awaken a deep sense of appreciation for the things of nature that happen every day without any help from us. Visit the Kentucky Derby Museum, Mammoth Cave, Lincoln’s Birthplace and more with a short drive!

Welcome to this lovely well-kept home in the country with a small lake and a large yard! Relax on the deck, sit by the lake, watch the sun rise over the hill in a place that feels like home. Near the Bourbon Trail! 5 mins to KY Railway Museum. 10 mins to Log Still Distillery & The Amp, and Lincoln's Boyhood home. 20 mins to Bardstown, Hodgenville, 25 mins to E'Town. 40 miles to Churchill Downs. The house is well stocked with everything you may need including breakfast items! Plenty of parking.

The Barrel Head

* LOCATED RIGHT ON THE BOURBON TRAIL * At the Barrel Head bed, we strive to make our guest feel as comfortable as possible. This location has been newly remodeled and furnished; a brand new queen size bed, pull out sofa, and coffee bar ensure that you are getting the sleep and energy you need for all of your endeavors while staying on the Bourbon Trail. The Barrel Head is also handicap accessible. There are not any steps, and we have installed a walk in shower for anyone in a wheel chair.

At this spacious bourbon lover’s basecamp, you’ll be close enough to breathe in the angel’s share from the rickhouses at Barton 1792 and secluded enough to sleep soundly after a full day of tastings. There are several local attractions we are 6 miles from Makers Mark, 11 miles to Log Still, 3 miles from the XB Arena (Saturday nights Nov-March), and 13 miles to Historic Bardstown to include Heaven Hill.
