The Thunderbird Tiny House

The Thunderbird tiny house is located on the Thunderbird Ranch about 13 miles west of Mountainair, New Mexico. We are surrounded by the Cibola National Forest on all four sides. The property is owned by the Wester's and has been in their family for almost a hundred years. We also have other vacation homes for rent so if you want to bring another family we can accommodate that. Pueblo Style home on 1+ Acre with Pool! This charming 4BR/2BA Pueblo Style home features stunning details throughout. Gorgeous saltillo tile in the living areas with beautiful wood beam accents, and a kiva-style fireplace for cozy winter nights. The primary suite offers direct access to the covered patio for summer dips in the pool and evening Sunsets. The 4th bedroom is huge and could be used as a second living area. The pool is not heated but will be open and cleaned all year. Sorry no pets.

The Mushroom Yurt

Off-grid rustic Mushroom yurt. This little yurt can sleep up to four people. It has a bunk bed cot and a queen size tri-fold mattress. There is a picnic table, a propane bbq grill, a fire pit, and an outhouse. Taos is approximately 30 miles, Red River 20 miles and Questa is 9 miles away. Cell service is good. The yurt has a solar power system to charge your devices. The yurt is heated. Sunshine rd is plowed in the winter, the driveway is not plowed.
