The cottage is a quiet retreat 10 mins from New Plymouth city. Wake up to the call of Tui and the sound of a stream running outside. Only a 10 minute drive into New Plymouth and beaches, 5 mins to the Egmont National Park. The Village hosts a cafe, petrol station, large mountain bike park, NZ's largest Holden Museum with luge and mini golf.

Kaitake Kabana | Off-Grid Retreat w/ Outdoor Bath

Escape to the tranquility of Kaitake Kabana, an off-grid studio retreat nestled in the foothills of the Kaitake Ranges. Ideal for two, it’s perfect for couples seeking a getaway, but can sleep up to four guests with an additional floor mattress. The bathroom and kitchenette are in a separate detached space. There is no WiFi and limited reception, inviting you to switch off and embrace the serenity away from everyday life.

Enjoy a stay in our ground level, contemporary apartment, located a short walk from the city, the coastal walkway and beach. Handy to several cafes, bars and restaurants. Spend your stay relaxing, swimming, surfing. Use the Coastal Walkway to connect you to stunning beaches, nature walks, shopping, restaurants and cafes, arts and culture. Work if you must! High speed unlimited Wifi included.

"Lake End" Retreat

Stay in a unique dwelling like an underground Hobbit Hole. Privately located overlooking a lake, native bush and pasture. Enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast and relax on a deck surrounded by landscaped garden and bird song (over 35 different species of bird may be viewed). At night time you could have a visit from a Morepork (Native owl).

Manukorihi Secret Cottage

This quiet & private retreat is tucked away in a forest garden in semi-rural Waitara. A cosy space for family & friends and a perfect home base for Mt Taranaki adventures and exploring New Plymouth. The two bedroom home sleeps 4-5 with a sunroom as the optional 3rd single bedroom. Close to New Plymouth Airport with the city 15 minutes away.
