Meadow Lane Get-away

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place in the country. Enjoy watching sheep graze in the meadow right behind back yard. You are only a short distance from town so if you forgot something you should find it there. the kingdom grounds cafe is only about 2miles, and is a very unique place to eat, the local table is a very good place to eat and is just out in town.Its only 15min from Little Buffalo State Park where there is lots to do and see,and we are 19miles to Carlisle fairgrounds.

Castle by the creek

If you like country settings, trout fishing, nature watching and diverse wildlife, this is the place for you! This beautiful home was originally hand built in 1850, rebuilt by the same family in 2024. The home is within feet of the Big Spring creek, which is a 6-mile-long limestone creek, emptying into the Condoguinet creek, Known for its class A brook and rainbow trout. Fly fishing, or any tackle type are welcome to enjoy this haven! Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.

A perfect place to get away from the stresses of life to relax and unwind . You Can have a seat on the large porch overlooking the Conodoguinet creek and enjoy watching nature , watch your kids playing and splashing in the creek , make dinner with the BBQ grill on the back patio or be just plain lazy ! There is no tv at this place , our goal is to have our guests enjoy nature and in this way be refreshed and ready to go back to work.

Charlie’s Place-Beautiful, quiet 2-bedroom cabin.

Our cabin is located on a private stoned road. Very quiet and remote location. Keep this in mind when booking. 25 minute drive to downtown Gettysburg, 40 minutes to Carlisle Fairgrounds. Near Michaux State Forest, Pine Grove Furnace State Park and Caledonia State Park; many hiking, ATV and snow mobile trails. For those that enjoy skiing we are 30 minutes to Liberty Mountain in Fairfield and 50 minutes to Roundtop Mountain in Lewisberry.
