Two holiday apartments are next to each other, occupy the entire top floor of Swafield Hall with stunning interiors, tranquil gardens, parkland & tennis court. The East & South Wing were both beautifully renovated and sleep 6(7). There is a dining area for 7 people or you can invite up to 16 people to have dinner in the large Victorian conservatory. Your spacious private bedroom has lovely views of the garden from the first floor of the house, in what was originally John Berney Ladbroke’s house. Ladbrooke was a landscape painter of the Norwich school and built this house (Ketts castle villa) in a sumptuous Italianate terraced garden of his own design. Enjoy the sloped garden, go for a bike ride, play croquet on the lawn, or just soak up local history.
