Thistle House - 5 km to Gros Morne National Park

Thistle House is located on Bonne Bay Pond, approximately 22 km north of Deer Lake and only 5 km to the entrance of Gros Morne National Park, making it the perfect base to explore Gros Morne and the west coast. If you are hiking, snowmobiling, skiing, or taking in the sights of Gros Morne then this is the vacation home that will meet all of your needs. This modern style of camping takes you inside a geodesic dome overlooking beautiful Trout River, Tablelands and a mountain formation known to locals as the Elephants Head. One queen bed with a comfy pillow top mattress is the perfect way to end your day. A pullout sofa bed, linens, towels, outdoor firepit, picnic table, BBQ, cookware, dishes, & utensils. Out East B&B - Small Cabin

We're a small B&B located in Norris Point. Stay in an authentic Newfoundland salt box style house no more then a stones throw from the beach. This is a great place to relax and use as a base camp while you explore Gros Morne National Park. Norris point offers kayaking in bonne bay, and provides access to several hiking trails as well as being home to a Marine station aquarium and BonTours boat cruises. There's plenty to do for any budget.

Walk two minutes to the waterfront, rent a kayak or have coffee at Gros Morne Adventures, or hike Burnt Hill. Finish the evening with a glass of wine as the sunset reflects off majestic Shag Cliff.
