Lazy Loon on Portage Lake by Leech Lake & Winnie

This unique, custom log home was a former church in Bemidji, MN! We moved it to our property, remodeled it and it is now a beautiful year round one BR + one loft BR, 1 BA property with full kitchen & living area with sofa bed. Located between Leech Lake & Winnie Lake, Portage is a 1,500+ acre lake with great fishing and very little boat traffic. Property has beach with chairs, dock, paddle boards and kayaks for guest use. Close to the Soo Line & other trails for atv & snowmobiling adventures.

Balsam Lake Cabin

Peaceful one-bedroom, one bathroom cabin with loft on beautiful Balsam Lake. Features a striking two-story stone gas fireplace, wrap around deck, large dock, and kayaks. Relax by the firepit overlooking the lake or stargaze at night. Perfect for a quiet getaway or outdoor adventure. Due to severe family allergies, we cannot host pets of any kind, including assistance animals, but are happy to help find alternate accommodations. Please note: Security Cameras monitor the exterior of the cabin.

Lake Cabin

My lake cabin is on a public lake with no public access (Please note, I do not have a boat landing for guests to bring their own boats due to the steep hill). It is near numerous snowmobile/ATV trails, many beautiful lakes, and the Chippewa National Forest. There is 250 feet of lakeshore and over 30 acres of hunting land across County Road 65. The cabin is on over 4 acres; plenty of room to relax. There is a dock, two kayaks, a 16' boat & motor, a small shed by lake, a fire pit & gas grill.

The New House

This property is unique as a brand new constructed house for you to enjoy on the west side of Lake Bemidji. In the morning you may hear the loons on the lake with your windows open or sitting calmly on the back patio. You can cook in the full kitchen and enjoy the grill in your own backyard sanctuary. In the evening, you can enjoy a bonfire or hot tub in the back yard of this safe neighborhood. The spacious house is great for gatherings, is pet friendly and children of all ages are welcome

Welcome to Harvest Loon Camp in Outing. This peaceful cabin sits on a private lake, offering quiet mornings with loon calls and stunning sunset views. Spend your days kayaking, swimming, or simply relaxing by the water. Evenings are perfect for campfires under the stars. Surrounded by nature and complete privacy, it’s the ideal cozy escape to unplug, unwind, and create lasting memories with family and friends. Guests bring their own bedding. 1 queen / 3 full sized bed with trundle.

The Brown Bear Cabin, on four secluded acres adjoining Chippawa National Forest land. Very quiet with abundant wildlife. Bear, deer, eagles, owls, and many others visit the property in its original natural setting. This Owner built home with natural Norway pine interior with a decor that brings the outside in. Very quiet with ample parking and minutes to biking/hiking trails, marinas, casino, restaurants and gas stations. 8 minutes to downtown Walker, 10 miles to Hackensack.

Bailey House

Cozy, private getaway on three wooded acres near Leech Lake. Sun-filled interior features a full kitchen and bedroom plus loft, comfortably sleeps 4 with two queen beds. Oversized bathtub, cedar barrel sauna, outdoor fire pit, and expansive decks for outdoor seating and dining. Less than a ten minute drive to downtown Walker and just minutes from hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, and boating. Escape from the noise of the city to the solitude of the Chippewa National Forest.

Fox Hollow Cabin at the Dam Cabins

Located in the heart of Federal Dam, we may not be on the water but we are conveniently located just three blocks away from the iconic Federal Dam and Leech Lake Rec area where you can fish from shore or take your own boat out on Leech Lake or the Leech River. Many other fishing spots in reasonable distances. We are also just blocks away (walking distance) from the Soo Line Trail north, a 150 mile ATV trail that's great for hiking, biking, or bringing your ATV's.
