LairBnB - Garden Apartment

Welcome to LairBnB! This is a private garden apartment with separate egress in our home near 6 corners in Portage Park. The ceiling height is 76”. Guests under 6' tall will be most comfortable here. We are old school Airbnb SuperHosts who love to host adult travelers in town for work or events in Chicago. We are steps away from Milwaukee, Cicero, and Irving Park bus stops, an 8 minute walk to the Grayland Metra stop, and a 20 minute walk to the Irving Park Blue line CTA.

This is a perfect space for solo travelers or couples. This is also a great space if you are traveling with a small child or infant. The place is set up much like a hotel room in that it does not have a kitchen but we do provide a mini fridge and Nespresso machine.

Wrigley Field, downtown attractions, and Lske Michigan are easily accessible by bike or train.

Edgewater Arts & Crafts Retreat

The cozy third floor BR features a queen bed, dresser, closet, love seat, and a small table. Also included are a TV, small fridge, and fan. A large window looks out into the majestic treetops lining Early Ave. The room is air-conditioned in summer, and well-heated in winter. A half-bath shared with one other room is just outside the door; the full bath with shower is on the first floor.

You can get to O'Hare Airport in less than 20 minutes, depending on traffic. And we're about a 25 minute drive to downtown, or about 45 minutes via public transit. We have free street parking on our block!

Welcome! I live on the 3rd floor walk up, in a vintage brick bldg. Mid point between O'Hare & Downtown, 4 blocks (1km) from the Blue Train & Expwy, with two chilled cute cats. It's a middle class residential area, relatively quiet and safe, ample street parking. No Locals and no pets please. Contact first for service animal exception.
