Hiort Pod (Baleshare Bothies) Dog Friendly

We are a small family run business - Baleshare Bothies - consisting of two cosy, self-catering, glamping pods. This listing is for our pod called Hiort, which is dog friendly. We are situated in the peaceful crofting community of Baleshare, North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, and located a short walk from the shore of Baleshare Beach, where there are breath-taking views. Each pod is hired out separately, however you are welcome to book the two pods at the same time depending on availability.

Harriet's House

Harriet’s House is in the small crofting township of Kyles, on the west coast of North Uist. It's yards from a vast, expansive beach on the island's Atlantic coastline. An ideal location for access to North Uist's beautiful beaches, trout filled lochs, moorland, hills, machair wildlife habitats, and a host of prehistoric sites. It's a 15-minute drive from the ferry terminal at Lochmaddy, and a mile from the excellent, well stocked shop in Bayhead. The shop has a 24/hr petrol and diesel pumps.

Near Byre @ 20 Lochbay (Self-Catering )

Fabulous self-catering apartment for 2 people (+1 small/medium sized dog). This 18th Century cow byre has been lovingly restored by the owners, retaining the original stone walls. An ideal space to get away from it all, enjoy peace and quiet in front of a wood-burning stove, whilst taking in the amazing views from Lochbay to the Outer Hebrides. Atlantic Sunset Pod, Benbecula

Facing the Atlantic on the west side of the Isle of Benbecula, the Atlantic Sunset Pod is located has open views out to the Atlantic and the Monach Isles. The pod is private and secluded, with only the spectacular Uist coastline in front of you as well as Hebridean sheep, chickens and ducks. Fresh eggs are available. You will be just a couple of minutes walk from Culla Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches in the islands. We are five minutes from Balivanich and on the Hebridean Way.

Otternish Pods, North Uist

Otternish Pods on North Uist are situated on a working croft and are ideally located for exploring the islands. 1 mile from Berneray ferry terminal and 10 miles from Lochmaddy. Each pod is open plan with a kitchenette, seating dining, sleeping area and shower room. 3/4 bed and sofa-bed provides accommodation for up to 4. It is ideal for 2,If there are 4 adults you may feel it rather small. Bedding and towels are provided. Heating, TV and WiFi all add to a warm comfortable stay.

Caravan On The Croft

2 bedroom caravan with gas central heating. Master bedroom has a Double size bed an en suite and plenty storage. Second bedroom consists of 2 single beds and storage. Main bathroom has a fully closed walk in shower. The Kitchen/living area is open plan with a large fridge freezer, gas cooker, microwave, kettle & toaster. The living area has a 32" smart tv with freeview, electric fire and 2 recliner sofas. The living room opens out on to a patio area via double patio doors.

Grenitote Pod

This is a cosy pod that sleeps 2 people with a double bed and a double sofa bed. You have a kitchenette and a toilet/shower en-suite. There is a small dining area, free Wi-Fi and TV. The pod is on the grounds of our family home which also houses my bookbinding workshop. The pod has its own access from our shared car park. Please feel free to pop into my Sollas Bookbinding studio during your stay or get creative by booking your own bookbinding workshop with me.

Am Bothan, North Uist

Am Bothan is situated on a working croft in Trumisgarry, Isle of North Uist. In true crofter fashion, we don't like creating waste and we love to use and reuse natural materials! This cabin provides an unique experience to enjoy a slower Hebridean pace with a special view of the changing tides, bird life and machair environment. This one bed cabin is ideal for singles/couples/friends with an additional fold out sofa bed for up to four persons.

The Wee Wooden Yurt at Caolas Gallery is a green roofed, original wooden round house with picture windows giving an uninterrupted view of the sea across to the Isle of Scalpay and South East Harris.
