We are 30 minutes from Brattleboro to the east, with its many shops and restaurants, and 12 minutes from the small town of Wilmington to our west, with some restaurants, shops, and a supermarket However, we always recommend bringing groceries, etc., for your first night and next morning. Once a barn, carefully reconstructed on the owners’ property, and modernized to today’s standards, this post and beam cabin is warm and cosy in winter and cool in summer. Well behaved dogs are very welcome and will enjoy the walks in the woods. Covid vaccinations are required. The owners live in an adjacent house with their very friendly Border Terrier

Property is located on 36 acres, owner lives on site in a separate house with her 3 dogs, 1 exceptionally lazy cat and 4 rogue chickens (they may all come visit you!). Grounds have ancient apple trees, loads of perennial gardens with more in progress, berries and an organic vegetable garden that we would love to share from if desired. Welcome to our cottage located just 1 hour north of NYC! It is nestled into 2.7 acres of beautiful gardens, mossy groves, and lovely woods. Nature abounds: The property abuts the 4000 acres of the Ward Pound Ridge Reservation. A trailhead begins right across the driveway. The cottage is equipped with a stone fireplace, spacious kitchen, living room area, table for dining and working, and a sleeping loft. During the summer, a private salt water pool is available.
