Next to the rail-trail, 30min to Nelson, central to 2major ski areas and 5min. from night skiing in Salmo, close to many beautiful lakes in the area. This spacious suite can accommodate 4-5 persons as it has a Queen bed, a high-end pullout sofa and twin cot. It has a beautiful shower room and a well appointed kitchen and new appliances for you to cook with. Floor heating keeps you cozy and warm and the big windows make you feel being part of nature. It also has a barbeque on the covered porch.

From this friendly location you can access world class hiking and biking trails, Red Mountain ski resort and Redstone Golf course. Rustic chic studio cabin (450sqft + a sleeping loft) set in an idyllic country setting. The timber for the cabin was harvested and sawed into logs in small batches within one mile of our location. The cabin was handcrafted by the owner to include log beds, dining table, and other accents. Enjoy modern amenities in a cozy atmosphere. This is the perfect place to get away from it all and enjoy a quiet weekend with endless night skies. There isn’t anywhere quite like Cougar Creek.

The Hidden Moose Lodge

The Hidden Moose Lodge is the ideal destination for any guests looking for a place to stay in Northern Pend Oreille County. Located down a private access road, this charming cabin nestled in the woods (NOT on the River) is the perfect retreat for all seasons! For our fellow animal lovers, we are pet & service dog friendly! We do charge a pet fee of $50 per pet, per stay. Please see our house rules for a full explanation of our Dog Policy.
