Yellowwoods Farm- Midlands/ Balgowan/ Curry’s Post

Built in 1896, this is one of the original Natal Midlands farmhouses, made from traditional blue cut stone, yellowwood floorboards and wrap around verandah. The house is surrounded by an established garden and is a truly unique family-friendly home. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms (two en-suite). The Pool Cottage next to the house can also be booked as an additional/5th bedroom if needed. Guest WC, sitting room, dining room, wrap around verandah, TV room. Full DSTV, WiFi and swimming pool.

As the name suggests, the farm was once used to grow mushrooms, but has since been renovated into modern accommodation and is now an attractive destination for the whole family- including pets! There is plenty to do and see on the farm with multiple shops, restaurants, kids play area, food garden and more also on the property. Work out at the gym, grab a morning coffee, pick up some fresh bread, and forage for your lunch- all a short walk from where you’ll be staying.

This spacious, double storey 3 bedroom holiday home, with breath taking views, is one of 4 cottages from the award winning Beverley Country Cottages, set in the beautiful farming community of the Dargle Valley in the Kwa Zulu Natal Midlands. Being slightly off the beaten track, we are 27kms from the N3 and Howick with close proximity to a number of wedding venues. Children love the open spaces and all the animals. Guests love the peace and beautiful surroundings!

The Coop, Old Kilgobbin Farm, Dargle

The Coop is a quaint bedsitter/studio cottage, set in a lovely garden, with a real chicken coop close by. It is perfect for 2 people, and is set on a 200hectare farm with lovely walks, horses and angus cows in lush paddocks, rolling lawns and a large indigenous forest. It can be set up with either twin beds or a King bed. We welcome small, well socialised dogs, but there are no fences around each cottage and there are farm animals close by.
