Kihachikan South Nozawa Onsen

Kihachikan South is a luxurious and homely family chalet. It has three bedrooms; one double, one twin and one smaller single room. The light filled, open plan kitchen and living room features a locally made oak kitchen that includes a Miele oven and induction hob and Miele dishwasher. The kitchen is fully supplied with all the main amenities including; a rice cooker, toaster, microwave, coffee machine and full cooking utensils should they be required. The comfy sofa seating area focusses around a cast iron pellet stove and the latest Bang & Olufsen television and sound system including live feed from the ski hills and Netflix. The daily readings from the traditional barograph will keep you ahead of the weather apps …….. possibly! The bedrooms maintain a traditional feel with shoji windows, wooden beams and authentic wall coverings with the addition of discreet blinds, wooden flooring and western style beds. The bedroom wardrobes in Japanese oak were made to order in Nagano. The bathrooms include walk in showers with locally made hinoki shower benches. The upstairs bathroom with both slate and wooden flooring also contains a separate seating area and large bath tub. The upstairs bathroom enjoys great views over to Togari and Mount Myoko. Dyson hair dryers are supplied in the two main bedrooms. The artwork throughout the Kihachikan South is a mixture of original Japanese woodblock prints and an extensive collection of original 16th & 17th century antique maps of Asia. Kihachikan South has a Miele washing machine and separate Miele clothes dryer.The ski, board and boot room is downstairs and shared with Kihachikan North and contains snow shoes for guest use (when available).

The home is accessible from Tokyo and other major cities via the Shinkansen bullet train or Joshin-etsu Expressway.

The Guest House Japan Asama was produced by the team used to work for a well known airline marketing team. The main concepts of the stay are "nature", "specious" and "hospitality". Guests can enjoy natural private onsens in the large size villa located in the national park. The private villa has 2 floors and each floor has over 120 square meters. The highlights of the villa are stone bath at inside of the villa and cypress bath at outside. Enjoy our natural onsen at both inside and outside!

The open plan area on the second floor, gives access to the entrance room area, the kitchen, dining & living area and bathroom downstairs. While upstairs leads to two separate traditional Japanese Style rooms. Easily accessible by car to 4 of the local ski resorts. A all wheel drive car is recommended to get the most out of your visit, parking is available.

古民家をモチーフにした落ち着いた空間です。リビングには堀こたつ式の大きな囲炉裏をセット、食事やお酒が楽しめます。ほかに４席のカウンターバーがあります。 周辺には野沢温泉スキー場、志賀高原、斑尾高原スキー場、戸狩温泉スキー場などがあり、ウインタースポーツのベースとして最適です。グリーンシーズンには斑尾カントリークラブをはじめ、１時間以内で行けるゴルフ場が８か所あり、日帰り温泉施設も多数あります。オーナーは玄関を上がった右側に住んでいていつでもコンタクトが可能であり、日常会話程度の英語が通じます。グリーンシーズンには自家農園でとれた新鮮な野菜がいつでも収穫出来、庭のあづまやでバーべキューも楽しめます。庭も広いのでちょっとした散歩なども楽しめます。飯山の特産品はグリーンアスパラが有名で５月かの７月まで楽しむことができ、近くには道の駅もあって新鮮な野菜や美味しい蕎麦をたのしむことができます。

“Maison d’hotes KIRISI MIZU”, is a Irimoya style (traditional Japanese house, similar to Temple) that has been beautifully restored from traditional materials and passed down from my grate-grand parents generation. The entire house is done in a classic style as used to be, except for a newly built kitchen, toilet and bathroom that provide all the necessities of modern life.

野尻湖を見下ろす、絶景が楽しめる一軒家です。 車で15-20分ほどの所にスキー場（妙高、黒姫、斑尾）が数カ所あり、ウィンタースポーツの拠点にもぴったり。 薪ストーブのサウナと、絶景の水風呂をお楽しみください。 周りに民家が無いので、大きな音で音楽や映画もご覧いただけます。 山奥に佇む一軒家のため、最大限の対策はしますが暖かい季節には虫が出ます。冬はたくさんの雪が降ります。秋には落ち葉が舞います。 薪ストーブの火もご自身で調整いただく必要があります。 決して簡単に住める家ではありませんが、その分とびきりの景色と体験をお約束いたします。 絶景を眺められるカウンターキッチンと、調味料、調理器を完備していますので、ぜひ料理をお楽しみください。（BBQ用の機材はありません）
