The Flower Bed

Welcome to The Flower Bed, a greenhouse cabin on the slopes of Mauna Loa, Big Island with everything you need for a great vacation. Relax on the outdoor patio, cozy up with a book on the loveseat, enjoy the rainfall shower. Gaze at the amazing stars and be lulled to sleep by evening nature sounds. Awake to birds in song and morning sun filtering through the window. Sample an edible flower, use a pinch of lavender for calm, and enjoy peekaboo ocean views. You won’t regret staying several nights!

Forest Hale Cabin @ Permaculture Farm, Waterfall

A beautiful get-away surrounded by nature on a cacao farm! One-bedroom + loft cabin, full kitchen, bathroom, w/d, sunny lanai, on our Big Island off-grid permaculture farm. Hale Ho'okipa

This quiet mountain hide-a-way offers peace and serenity in a rural location close to Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. The private home has covered private lanais with eating areas, lounging areas and a fire pit. Interior spaces have a unique Hawai'ian vibe with sophisticated decor. Kanaloa (God of the Sea creatures) over looks the Ocean, this room is 140 sq ft, with a queen bed, small table with chairs, no kitchen, large window to view Milky Way, sunrises, all while laying in bed. Kanaloa has its own private composting toilet 25’ from the room, bathroom sink, beach shower. A glamping room for short stays for those wanting a lower nightly price, clean, comfortable, getaway, close to Green Sand Beach and other popular place.

We have views of south point the most southern point of The United States. At night the you can experience millions of twinkling stars as we are in one of the special places on earth free of light pollution allowing views of the stars rarely seen with the naked eye
