Jack Wright's is tucked away in the corner of a working Alpaca Stud farm with panoramic views of the Slieve Blooms. Most mornings, you can wake up to the 'hum' of our Alpacas as they ramble into view for their morning feed or watch the cria 'pronking' on the horizon of a summers evening... if the Alpacas are not outside your window, they'll be only a stones throw away. Situated in the grounds of the owner’s working farm, who are on hand to offer advice on the local area, the cottages are in an excellent central location on the Tipperary/Offaly border, almost equidistant from the picturesque town of Birr, 7½km, and one of the oldest towns in Ireland, Roscrea, 6km, and a 2km drive from Gloster house and wedding venue.

Take a stroll or cycle along the famous 46km stretch of The Barrow Blueway or cast your fishing rod into the world of coarse fishing on the Grand Canal. Why not take a walk into town across the Aqueduct and visit some of our favourites such as Mooneys & Brennans or snuggle up to a log burning stove. The local Kids playground is a 5 minute stroll away should the kids need some play time.
