A rustic 1850s farmhouse seated on a private, 70-acre mix of farmland + woods in Oldtown, Maryland, with easy access to the world-class C&O Canal Trail + nearby Promised Land MX. This house features 3 bedrooms which sleeps 6, a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower, a full kitchen + 2 porches with breathtaking vistas. We provide a peaceful retreat, secluded in nature along with strong, stable wifi to work remotely as well. The Meadow Retreat is only 30 miles away from Berkeley Springs, WV!

Oldtown Schoolhouse. C&O Canal Lock 70.

The space is an open concept classroom inside of an old school 500 yards from the C&0 Canal Lock 70. Guests of Lock 70 Schoolhouse enjoy the entire space of this open concept which includes 1 King Bed, 2 Bunk Beds, and a fully stocked coffee bar area with a microwave, water cooler and refrigerator and internet. A private bathroom with a hot shower awaits after your long day on the trail. Also housed in the school is a restaurant and a small store (owned by a separate party, closed on Mondays.)

This two bedroom house is situated on a 1.3 acre lot, located right off Maryland 51. Whether you're just passing through or in the area to explore local attractions, this is a great resting spot. The Paw Paw tunnel, historic downtown Cumberland, C&O canal towpath, and more are all located within 15 miles. There’s hiking, biking, canoeing, and fishing options within a few miles of the house or stay at the house and enjoy a quiet getaway. There’s a few books, games and a roku tv for your use.
