'SugaCottage' is a newly built 8 sleeper dwelling just 30m from beach in the homeland of the warm, welcoming Xhosa peoples of the Eastern Cape. Come down to enjoy this beautiful 'wild-coast' gem, with excellent angling, fresh crayfish, oysters, mussels and crab to your doorstep. Situated inside the fenced-in Hole in the Wall resort grounds. Spectacular sea view! 80 meters to the beach. Communal swimming pool. Children's play area. Daily Dolphin and whale sightings in season. Pub and restaurant on site. There are four different beaches within a very easy walk from the cottage. Gillies are available outside the gate for a fishing outing to some top spots. Our Airbnb unit, crafted from repurposed shipping containers, nestles amid lush mountain forestry. Its rustic, modern design integrates large windows that invite natural light. Cozy and efficient, the interior features sustainable materials, and a blend of minimalist decor enhances the spaciousness. Ideal for nature lovers, it provides direct access to hiking trails and a serene space to unwind in the tranquil ambiance of a mountain town.

Luxury Double Story Rondavel – with TV

This unit truly is luxury accommodation in the Transkei, with a gorgeous, spacious upstairs loft bedroom that has an incredible view of the ocean and surrounding landscape. The downstairs consists of a second bedroom and a shared bathroom that has a double shower. The open plan kitchen/living area is spacious with French doors opening out onto a large deck to relax on. This unit boasts the best view of the lodge.

The Bus

Barely noticed, The Hideout is tucked among the trees, along the Bomvu River where it opens out to the Indian Ocean, the beach is 200m walk down the river bank from our private gate. The Hideout offers a secure place for travelers to stay with a quick, easy barefoot walk to the beaches and all village activities.
